Upon your arrival at Lisbon airport, the driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Once you check-in, the remaining day is yours to enjoy on your own. One can explore the famous markets of the city like Ribeira Market and Time Out Market, the oldest markets in the city. These markets are also lined with amazing restaurants. Also, one can roam Cais do Sodré station just in front of Ribeira Market, a beautiful region for a peaceful stroll while enjoying the sunset.

The driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you on a tour of Lisbon. Marvel at landmarks like Monument to the Discoveries & Belem Tower. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Jeronimos Monastery. Stroll through the vibrant Restauradores Square lined with bars and cafes from where you can take the Elevador da Gloria to the Upper district with views over Lisbon. After sightseeing, get transferred back to the hotel.

Post check out, meet the driver who will take you to Madrid. On the way to Madrid, make a small halt in Fatima, a Portuguese town & visit its famous sanctuary known as the 'Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima'. After exploring, continue your journey to Madrid. After reaching Madrid, head to Plaza Mayor, a bustling square steeped in history, adorned with stunning architecture & brimming with a lively atmosphere. After exploring, get transferred to the hotel in Madrid.

The driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you on a sightseeing tour of Madrid. Explore iconic landmarks like Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno & the Gate of Alcalá. Later, visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre & get to know about the tradition of “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum at Las Ventas Bullring. In the evening, get transferred to Plaza de Oriente, a bustling area with many restaurants. After the tour, get transferred back to the hotel.

Post-checkout, the driver will take you to Barcelona. On your way, stop by Zaragoza, capital of northeastern Spain's Aragon region, to visit the Basilica del Pilar. Continue your journey, and halt at the Monastery of Poblet. Post-sightseeing, get back on your journey through Northern Spain and reach Montserrat. Hop off the coach and board a small rack train from Montserrat to visit the Montserrat Monastery. Later, continue your journey to Barcelona for an overnight stay.

When and where does the tour end?
Your tour will conclude in San Francisco on Day 8 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!
When and where does the tour start?
Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Los Angeles. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travelers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
Do you arrange airport transfers?
Airport transfers are not included in the price of this tour, however you can book for an arrival transfer in advance. In this case a tour operator representative will be at the airport to greet you. To arrange this please contact our customer service team once you have a confirmed booking.
What is the age range
This tour has an age range of 12-70 years old, this means children under the age of 12 will not be eligible to participate in this tour. However, if you are over 70 years please contact us as you may be eligible to join the tour if you fill out G Adventures self-assessment form.
