Arrive at Bagdogra Airport [IXB] from where our representative will pick you up to transfer you to Gangtok.
After covering a distance of approx 123kms, you will reach Gangtok, surrounded by natural beauty.
On your route, you will encounter Teesta River, that flows through Sikkim (photo stop).
Upon reaching the hotel, you can complete your check in formalities and rest.
In the evening, you can stroll the nearby areas such as MG Road, the hub for shopping, entertainment and restaurants.
Return back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Start your morning with breakfast and get ready for the fun-filled day ahead.
Head to the Tsomgo Lake, a waterbody that changes color depending on the season. You can also opt for a yak ride while you are there.
Next, pay your respects at Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to the Indian army soldier, Harbhajan Singh and learn about the fascinating backstory behind the construction of the Mandir.
Afterwards if you wish to explore further, you can head to Nathula Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. From there, you can catch a glimpse of the China border and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges.
Following that, you can return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.

On your route, you will pass through Chungthang town where you can see the confluence of two rivers, Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu.
After arriving in Lanchen, proceed to your hotel to complete your check-in formalities and rest for a while.
In the evening, you can stroll through the streets and admire the traditional houses adorned with flower baskets. You can also explore the local markets that sell woolens, and blankets made using Yak and sheep wool.

On your route, keep an eye out for the Bhim Nala waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in Sikkim. There is also a café and a view point nearby that you can enjoy later.

When and where does the tour end?
Your tour will conclude in San Francisco on Day 8 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!
When and where does the tour start?
Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Los Angeles. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travelers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
Do you arrange airport transfers?
Airport transfers are not included in the price of this tour, however you can book for an arrival transfer in advance. In this case a tour operator representative will be at the airport to greet you. To arrange this please contact our customer service team once you have a confirmed booking.
What is the age range?
